Coach Q. is a graduate of Monroe High School…1980. He was a starting player for a Monroe high school baseball team that won the Central New Jersey State Baseball Championship
Coach Mike Q. has been coaching in Monroe since 1995 and is the founder and current manager of the Monroe American Legion POST 519 Senior Division team.
His son Devon Quaglietta is currently playing college baseball at Salisbury University.
When being taught by Coach Mike Q. you will be focused on a short, fast swing.
You will be run through drills to increase bat speed & shorten your swing.
These two functions equals POWER…
Easy to understand comparisons to a baseball swing will be shown & explained.
Every drill that is taught to you will be accompanied with a reason why it is an important function in your swing.
You will be taught to visualize your swing
Your confidence will be increased because he will instill in you the discipline it takes to hit the ball hard constantly.
You will be coached mentally as well, which is a major part of hitting.
Coach Mike Q. has been through the baseball ranks with his son Devon. He knows what college coaches are looking for in a player and will help you attain those goals. Teaching hitting is not just about throwing batting practice for an hour. It is about discipline, doing drills properly and then spending time getting BP & instilling the techniques you were taught and seeing the difference in your swing. Coach Mike Q. has helped many Monroe & out of town players achieve the college level.
Lessons will be held at PLAY BALL SPORTS on 712-Ginesi Dr. off of rt. 520 in Morganville, NJ 07751.
Hitting workouts are $40.00 for a half hour private session. If you sign up for 6 lessons cost is $210.00. Majority of the profits will benefit the MONROE SR. AMERICAN LEGION Team POST 519. So your money will be staying in MONROE Baseball.
