PRACTICES/PRACTICE SCHEDULING
- We will have an online scheduler on our web site this spring to book your practices - it is basically ready to go with a few tweaks left...should be good to go early next week.  Everyone will be given instructions on this when it is ready to go (it will be similar to our online scheduler of the past).  IN THE MEANTIME, to book a practice, please email Exec Board member Mike Loschiavo (losch00@aol.com) with your request for practice.  Email must include managers first and last name, division, team, date, time and field requested (give a choice A and choice B). Mike will return your email with a confirmation and it will be sent in the order it was received and within 24 hours. 
 
We will be using the same rules and protocol for practices as we have in the past (DO NOT ABUSE PRIVILEGES).
1. A practice has to be booked through the scheduler (and through Mike Loschiavo until scheduler is up and running)
2. Always print a copy of your confirmation to avoid any conflicts
3. Each rec team is permitted (1) one-hour practice per week (week is Sunday - Saturday)
4. A rec team can have a two hour practice if they partner up with another rec team or plan a scrimmage with another rec team prior to the start of the season
5. Each AAU/Travel team is permitted (1) two-hour practice per week (week is Sunday-Saturday)
6. Each AAU team is permitted a 2nd two-hour slot for a scrimmage only
7. No practice time or scrimmage time can be booked more than 7 days in advance
8. All practices must be held at the appropriate field(s) that the division is allowed to practice on (more on this below)
9 Never practice on a field at Thompson Park or JMP that later in the day has a game scheduled on it
10. We will institute the "24 Hour Rule".  This rule allows you to schedule a practice on an un booked field 24 hours prior to the time you want to practice. We do this because we would rather have fields being used by a team having more than one practice a week, than be empty. 
 
FIELD USAGE
- only use the fields when we are permitted to use them
- certain divisions can only use certain fields for practices (unless using 24 hour rule)
    - Tee Ball can only practice at Daniel Ryan Field
    - Rookie can practice at Daniel Ryan Field, Thompson Park #1 and #3 and Woodland School
    - AAA can only practice on Thompson Park #1 and #3, Woodland School and JMP UF/LF
    - Minors can only practice on Thompson Park #1 and #3, Woodland School and JMP UF/LF
    - 9U/10U AAU can only practice on Thompson Park #1 and #3, Woodland School and JMP UF/LF
    - Majors 11 can only practice on Woodland School and JMP UF/LF
    - 11U AAU can only practice on Woodland School and JMP UF/LF
    - Majors 12 can only practice on JMP UF/LF
    - 12U AAU can only practice on JMP UF/LF
    - Pony, 13U AAU and 14/15U AAU can only practice on JMP Pony (until construction), TP#2 and TP#4
** Everyone must have the permits for Thompson Park - the Park Rangers are out in full force!!  Everyone will be given the permits for all 4 Thompson Park fields when they pick up their equipment. **
** For convenience sake, we will allow managers that coach two or more rec or AAU teams to have their teams practice back to back at any field. **
 
This is when we have the fields -
- Daniel Ryan #1, #2, #3 and #4 = Monday-Friday 4pm - 7pm; Saturday 9am - 2pm
- JMP Upper and Lower Fields = 24/7 (until 10pm)
- JMP Pony (until construction starts) = 24/7 (until 10pm)
- Woodland School = Monday-Friday 5pm - dusk; Saturday and Sunday 9am - dusk
*Woodland will be unavailable from time to time due to school functions
- Thompson Park #1 = Monday - Thursday 5:30pm - dusk; Saturday 1pm - dusk; Sunday 1pm - dusk
- Thompson Park #2 = Monday - Thursday 5:30pm - dusk; Saturday 9am - dusk; Sunday 1pm - dusk
- Thompson Park #3 = Monday, Tuesday, Friday 5:30pm - dusk; Saturday 2pm - dusk; Sunday 9am - 2pm
- Thompson Park #4 (Legion Field) = Saturday 9am - dusk, Sunday 1pm - dusk
* All school fields within the township - Applegarth, HS fields, Oak Tree (although probably not ready for this spring) - are first come, first served but fall under the restrictions and guidelines of the Board of Ed.  They are not to be used until after the school team season ends. *
