PRACTICES/PRACTICE SCHEDULING

We will be using the same rules and protocol for practices as we have in the past (DO NOT ABUSE PRIVILEGES). Questions or problems with the scheduler should be referred to Scott Lebow (slebow@comcast.net) or John Dalton (daltonfamily4u@gmail.com)

1. Practices must be booked through the online scheduler (link to the left)
   
2. Each Rec team is permitted (1) one-hour practice per week (week is Sunday - Saturday)
   
3. A Rec team can have a two hour practice if they partner up with another Rec team or plan a scrimmage with another Rec team
   
4. Each AAU/Travel team is permitted (1) two-hour practice per week (week is Sunday-Saturday)
   
5. Each AAU team is permitted a 2nd two-hour slot for a scrimmage only
   
6. No practice time or scrimmage time can be booked more than 5 days in advance
   
7. All practices must be held at the appropriate field(s) that the division is allowed to practice on (more on this below)
   
8. Never practice on a field that later in the day has a game scheduled on it
9. We will institute the "24 Hour Rule".  This rule allows you to schedule a practice on an open field 24 hours prior to the time you want to practice. We do this because we would rather have fields being used by a team having more than one practice a week, than be empty. 
   

FIELD USAGE

• Only use the fields when we are permitted to use them (this information posted below and on the scheduler page for each field)
• Certain divisions can only use certain fields for practices (unless using 24 hour rule)
  
  • Tee Ball can practice at Daniel Ryan Field (any day, once we confirm when we have it), JMP Tee Ball Field#5 (any day) and Thompson Park #1 and #3 (Sundays only)
  • Rookie can practice at Daniel Ryan Field (once we confirm when we have it), JMP Tee Ball Field#5 (any day), Thompson Park #1 and #3 and Woodland School
  • AAA and 8U AAA/Travel can only practice on Thompson Park #1 and #3, Woodland School and JMP (Fields #3 & #4 only)
  • Minors can only practice on Thompson Park #1 and #3, Woodland School and JMP (Fields #1-#4)
  • 9U, 10U AAU/Travel can only practice on Thompson Park #1 and #3, Woodland School and JMP (Fields #1-#4).  We ask that these teams use Fields #3 & #4 first when they are available, then Field #1 and only after that, Field #2.
    
  • Majors 11 and 11U 46/60 AAU/Travel can only practice on Woodland School and JMP (Fields #1-#4).  We ask that these teams use Fields #3 & #4 first when they are available, then Field #1 and only after that, Field #2.
  • Majors 12, 11U 50/70 AAU/Travel and 12U AAU/Travel can only practice on JMP (Fields #1 & #2 only)
  • Pony, 13U AAU/Travel and 14/15U AAU/Travel can only practice on TP#2 and TP#4 and Jamesburg, if available
• For convenience sake, we will still allow managers that have two or more rec or AAU/Travel teams to have their teams practice back to back at any field, but please do leave JMP Field #2 for our 50/70 teams when there are other option available to you.
  
• Please be sure to adhere to these guidelines for the JMP Fields as we need to ensure that we leave the fields that are convertible to 50/70 for our 50/70 teams.  We only want to convert JMP Fields #1 & #2.

• Daniel Ryan - we are waiting to confirm when and what we have at Daniel Ryan this season
  
• JMP (All 5 Fields) - Every Day until 10pm
  
• Woodland School* - Monday-Friday 5pm - dusk; Saturday 9am – dusk; Sunday 1pm - dusk
  
• Thompson Park #1 - Monday - Thursday 5pm - dusk; Saturday 1pm - dusk; Sunday 1pm - dusk
  
• Thompson Park #2 - Saturday 9am - dusk; Sunday 1pm - dusk
  
• Thompson Park #3 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday 5:30pm - dusk; Saturday 2pm - dusk; Sunday 9am - dusk
  
• Thompson Park #4 (Legion Field) - Saturday 9am - dusk, Sunday 1pm - dusk

All school fields within the township - Applegarth, HS fields, Oak Tree (once it is available) - are first come, first served but fall under the restrictions and guidelines of the Board of Ed.  They are not to be used until after the school team season ends.

Monroe HS JV and Freshman Baseball teams will use TP#4 and TP#2 for games so they may not always be available at the times we have listed. We will block off times on scheduler once we get their schedule
