Please click the link at the bottom to view the current list of approved on-field or in-the-dugout volunteers for 2016. Anyone who has submitted for and passed the required background check is listed here; if you do not see your name then the most likely reason is that you did not submit your info for the background check (see info on the MTBA health and safety page).
The list also shows whether or not the league has documented proof that you have completed the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. certification course; all on-field volunteers are also required to have that in addition to completing the background check. If you know you completed the Rutgers course in the past but aren't marked as such on the list then please email a copy/picture of your certification card to firstname.lastname@example.org ; if you know you completed the course but can't find your card then please visit http://youthsports.rutgers.edu/ to request a new card be sent to you and then email a copy upon receipt.
YOU MAY ONLY WORK WITH THE PLAYERS ON THE FIELD OR IN THE DUGOUT IF BOTH COLUMNS HAVE A 'Y' IN THEM!! REC AND TRAVEL MANAGERS NEED TO ENFORCE THIS IMPORTANT SAFETY RULE!
In addition starting with the 2017 season the MTBA is requesting that all on-field volunteers also complete a short online concussion training course; information on that can also be found on the MTBA health and safety page . The list also shows who has completed that course. This course will become mandatory at some point soon, so if you are an on-field volunteer and have not completed that course please do so ASAP.
Thank you for your cooperation, and thanks for your time and willingness to help our young ballplayers!
